As our Director of R&D, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the long-term technology roadmap for Career.zycto. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and researchers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will guide the exploration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, predictive analytics, and sophisticated data integration to develop cutting-edge solutions that solve complex challenges in talent acquisition, workforce management, and organizational development.

This role demands a strategic thinker capable of translating market needs and business objectives into concrete R&D initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire innovation lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to testing and successful deployment of new products and features. Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute the R&D strategy and roadmap, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, data scientists, and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of R&D projects, from concept generation and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and successful product delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, ML, Big Data, etc.) and assess their potential application in HR technology solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, sales, and operations teams to translate market needs into innovative technical solutions.
  • Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and financial parameters.
  • Establish and maintain strong intellectual property practices, including patenting strategies and protection of proprietary technologies.
  • Represent Career.zycto as a thought leader in relevant industry forums, conferences, and partnerships.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D or advanced engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, data analytics, software development, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative products or solutions from concept to market.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of the HR technology landscape and its challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant technical discipline.
