Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate rates, schedule pickups, and resolve shipping issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies in stock.
- Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software to track shipments and provide updates.
- Monitor delivery schedules and proactively address potential delays or disruptions.
- Collaborate with warehousing and sales teams to optimize storage and order fulfillment processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Generate reports on distribution activities, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the distribution network.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
