Job Description

Green Castle Estate is seeking an exceptional “DJ Entertainment Event” professional to elevate the ambiance and energy of our exclusive events. Key Responsibilities
- Curate and perform dynamic musical sets appropriate for a wide range of private and public events.
- Operate and maintain professional DJ equipment, including mixers, turntables/CDJs, and sound systems.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to understand their specific music preferences and event themes.
- Manage sound levels and audio quality to ensure an optimal guest experience.
- Engage with guests and create a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with audio equipment during events.
- Adhere to event schedules and maintain punctuality for all engagements.
- Stay updated on current music trends and expand music library to cater to diverse tastes.
- Ensure professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional DJ experience in event settings.
- Proficiency in mixing, beatmatching, and scratching techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of various music genres (e.g., Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Pop, R&B, EDM, Hip-Hop, Latin, Jazz).
- Familiarity with professional DJ software and hardware (e.g., Pioneer CDJs, Serato DJ, Traktor).
- Excellent crowd-reading and adaptability skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic audio equipment issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous event work.
