Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, and experienced Freelance DJ to elevate the entertainment experience at Stella Di Mare Grand Hotel Ain Soukhna. This pivotal role requires a professional who can curate electrifying atmospheres for a wide range of events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate galas, private celebrations, pool parties, and special resort-themed nights. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of various music genres, from contemporary international hits and classic tracks to local favorites, and demonstrate an exceptional ability to read a crowd, adapt their setlist on the fly, and maintain a high level of energy throughout the event. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with event planners and clients to understand event specific themes, musical preferences, and audience demographics.
- Curate diverse and appropriate music playlists that cater to various event types and guest expectations, ensuring a seamless flow.
- Transport, set up, and dismantle professional DJ equipment, including turntables/controllers, mixers, amplifiers, speakers, and microphones, ensuring all are in optimal working condition.
- Perform captivating live DJ sets, mixing tracks seamlessly, managing transitions, and adjusting sound levels for optimal guest enjoyment and clear audio.
- Engage actively with the audience and maintain an energetic and positive atmosphere throughout the event, encouraging participation.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with audio equipment promptly and effectively during events.
- Adhere strictly to event timelines and ensure punctual start and end times for all performances and setup/breakdown.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, representing the Stella Di Mare brand with excellence and professionalism.
- Potentially incorporate basic lighting effects to enhance the overall ambiance and visual experience of the event.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional DJ for various event types (weddings, corporate, private parties, club nights).
- Extensive knowledge of diverse music genres, including Arabic, Western (pop, rock, R&B), and international popular music.
- Proficiency in operating professional DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ) and hardware (controllers, mixers).
- Strong understanding of sound engineering principles and audio equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent crowd-reading and adaptability skills to adjust music selection and energy levels in real-time based on audience response.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, guests, and staff.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, especially when working independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or formal training in DJing, music production, or sound engineering.
- Experience with advanced lighting systems, visual projection, or other multimedia integration.

- Possession of own high-quality, reliable DJ equipment, although resort equipment may also be available.
