Key Responsibilities
- Curate and perform dynamic DJ sets tailored to specific event themes and audience demographics.
- Operate and maintain professional audio and DJ equipment, ensuring optimal sound quality.
- Conduct thorough sound checks and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to avoid interruptions.
- Engage with the audience, responding to requests and adapting music selections to maintain energy and atmosphere.
- Maintain an extensive and current music library spanning various genres, including local and international hits.
- Collaborate with venue management and event organizers to align musical selections with overall event objectives.
- Manage music transitions seamlessly, utilizing advanced mixing techniques.
- Adhere to all venue policies, sound regulations, and performance schedules.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional DJ, with a strong portfolio or demonstrable track record.
- Expertise in operating industry-standard DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ, Rekordbox, Traktor) and hardware (turntables, CDJs, mixers).
- Deep knowledge of music theory, genre blending, and crowd reading techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Mauritian Creole.
