Key Responsibilities
- Curate and perform engaging DJ sets tailored to specific event themes and audience demographics.
- Operate and maintain professional DJ equipment, including mixers, turntables/CDJs, and sound systems.
- Prepare music libraries, ensuring a diverse range of genres and high-quality audio files.
- Read and respond to crowd energy, adjusting music selection and mixing techniques accordingly.
- Collaborate with event organisers and clients to understand their musical vision and specific requirements.
- Set up and tear down DJ equipment efficiently and safely at various event locations.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with audio equipment during live performances.
- Interact professionally and positively with guests, clients, and venue staff.
- Manage music requests while maintaining the overall flow and integrity of the set.
- Stay updated with current music trends, new releases, and DJ technology.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional DJ with a strong portfolio of live performances.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ, rekordbox, Traktor).
- Mastery of various DJ hardware (CDJs, turntables, mixers, controllers).
- Exceptional ear for music, beatmatching, mixing, and scratching techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple music genres and the ability to seamlessly transition between them.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
