Key Responsibilities
- Curate, mix, and perform engaging and appropriate music sets for various live events (clubs, corporate, private parties, festivals, etc.).
- Operate and maintain professional DJ equipment, including sound systems, mixers, turntables, CDJs, and relevant software.
- Collaborate closely with event organizers, clients, and venue staff to understand event themes, audience demographics, and musical preferences.
- Manage crowd energy and adapt music selection in real-time to maintain an electrifying and positive atmosphere.
- Ensure seamless transitions between tracks and uphold high-quality audio output throughout performances.
- Conduct pre-event checks of all equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Adhere to event timelines, schedules, and specific client requests.
- Maintain a vast, organized, and up-to-date music library across various genres.
- Troubleshoot basic audio and equipment issues during events as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional DJ experience in live event settings.
- Expert proficiency with industry-standard DJ hardware (Pioneer CDJs, Technics turntables) and software (Serato DJ, Traktor Pro, Rekordbox).
- Extensive music knowledge across multiple genres (e.g., House, Techno, R&B, Pop, Disco, Rock, Electronic).
- Exceptional mixing, scratching, and beat-matching abilities.
- Strong understanding of sound engineering principles and acoustics.
