If you possess a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have a passion for providing exceptional security service within a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.

As a Door Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in shaping their experience from arrival to departure. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest standards of safety and conduct within various nightlife establishments. This involves meticulous access control, ensuring only authorised and eligible individuals enter the premises, alongside proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks before they escalate. You will be instrumental in checking identification, managing queues efficiently, and ensuring adherence to all venue policies and licensing laws, particularly those pertaining to responsible alcohol consumption and age verification.

Beyond traditional security functions, this role demands excellent customer service skills. You will be expected to interact positively with patrons, provide directions, answer enquiries, and offer assistance when needed, all while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence. The ability to diffuse tense situations with tact, diplomacy, and effective communication is paramount. You will be trained and expected to respond calmly and decisively to incidents, ranging from minor disputes to more serious emergencies, always prioritising the safety and well-being of everyone present. This includes liaising effectively with venue management, emergency services, and your fellow security team members to ensure a coordinated and swift response.

We value professionalism, integrity, and a proactive approach to security. Join Career.zycto and become a vital guardian of Exeter’s premier entertainment spaces, where your skills are recognised, and your contribution is highly valued. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where our security professionals can thrive and continue to develop their expertise.
