Career.zycto is actively seeking an experienced Driver, capable of providing exceptional personal and corporate transportation services. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport executives, clients, or individuals to designated locations.
- Plan and execute efficient routes considering traffic, road conditions, and schedules.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, performing daily checks (tyre pressure, oil, fuel, lights, etc.) and scheduling regular maintenance and servicing.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers with luggage, packages, or other items as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all passenger movements and discussions.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and management regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
- Represent the company or client professionally and courteously at all times.
- Adapt to changing travel plans or unforeseen circumstances with a calm and flexible approach.
Required Skills
- Valid South African Code 08 (B) driver's license with a Public Driver's Permit (PDP).
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience (personal/corporate chauffeur, courier, or similar).
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- In-depth knowledge of Upington and surrounding Northern Cape road networks.
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced driving course certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
