Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimize product listings across all e-commerce channels (e.g., company website, Jumia, Kilimall, etc.) to maximize visibility and conversion rates.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant search terms and integrate them strategically into product titles, descriptions, and backend search terms.
- Write engaging, persuasive, and SEO-friendly product descriptions, bullet points, and A+ content that accurately represent products and address customer pain points.
- Ensure all product images and videos meet platform guidelines and are optimized for quality, resolution, and loading speed.
- Monitor competitor listings and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation.
- Utilize analytics tools to track listing performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on key metrics such as traffic, conversion rate, and sales.
- Perform A/B testing on various listing elements (titles, images, descriptions) to continuously improve performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and inventory teams to ensure product information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all product listings.
- Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends, platform changes, and SEO best practices to ensure continuous optimization and competitive advantage.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in e-commerce product listing optimization and SEO.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with an emphasis on conversion-focused language.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Jumia Seller Center, Kilimall Seller Center).
- Strong understanding of keyword research tools and SEO best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Basic knowledge of image editing software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) for optimizing product visuals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
