Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on various projects.
- Prepare work sites, including setting up equipment, tools, and ensuring safety measures are in place.
- Retrieve, transport, and organise tools, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Perform basic wiring tasks and connections under direct supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Actively learn to identify and troubleshoot common electrical issues alongside experienced professionals.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Provide general support and assistance for various tasks as directed by the lead electrician.
- Help with physical tasks such as trenching, digging, conduit bending, and pulling cables.
- Develop the ability to understand and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints over time.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness and eagerness to learn the electrical trade.
