Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment, circuits, and systems integral to telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic faults and system malfunctions using specialized testing equipment and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Install, configure, calibrate, and upgrade electronic components and systems in strict accordance with technical specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity, reliability, and optimal performance of all electronic assets.
  • Interpret and effectively utilize technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for accurate system analysis, modification, and repair.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of parts utilized or required.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering teams and other technical staff to identify root causes of issues and implement system improvements and optimizations.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, industry best practices, and environmental protection guidelines.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support and guidance to junior technicians or operational staff as needed, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in electronic circuit analysis, fault diagnosis, and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience with various electronic testing equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Strong foundational understanding of both digital and analog electronics principles and applications.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret complex technical diagrams, schematics, and engineering blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and critical decision-making skills.

  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience working in the telecommunications or IT infrastructure industry.
  • Working knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) systems, microwave technology, and optical fiber communication systems.
