Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage epidemiological studies and surveillance systems.
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret complex health data using statistical software.
- Investigate disease outbreaks, identify sources, and recommend control measures.
- Develop and evaluate public health programs and interventions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, scientific articles, and presentations of epidemiological findings.
- Provide expert epidemiological advice to public health officials and stakeholders.
- Monitor health trends and identify emerging public health risks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on public health initiatives.
- Contribute to grant proposals and research funding applications.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in epidemiology or public health research.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, STATA, SPSS).
- Strong understanding of epidemiological methods, study design, and biostatistics.
- Excellent data management and analytical skills.
