Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training on safe forklift operation and material handling procedures.
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper documentation and secure placement of goods.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting, scanning, and organizing stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Salina facility.
