As an Evening Warehouse Loader, you will be a crucial part of our supply chain, ensuring that incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately. Your primary duties will involve loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for distribution, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Sort, stack, and organize products in designated warehouse locations according to company procedures.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Basic comprehension of English for safety instructions and team communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding role (even if not loading-specific).
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Comfortable working evening shifts and flexible with occasional overtime.
