Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative schedules for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of facility staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to operational procedures.
- Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors for specialized services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with service level agreements.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement facility policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Manage facility budgets, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, regional, and national health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and facility-related requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their operational needs and project requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in facility management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to facility operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Budget management and cost control expertise.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant vocational training or degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
