Job Description
Fumane Cleaning Services is urgently seeking a diligent and physically fit Farm Cleaner to join our team for an immediate start. This critical role is based at one of our valued client’s agricultural facilities in Ha Mabote, Maseru. As a Farm Cleaner, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various areas of the farm, including animal housing, storage facilities, equipment areas, and general outdoor spaces. Your work directly contributes to the health and well-being of livestock, the efficiency of farm operations, and the overall biosecurity of the facility. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of animal housing areas, including stalls, pens, and coops.
- Clean and sanitize feed and water troughs to prevent contamination.
- Remove and properly dispose of animal waste, bedding, and general refuse.
- Clean and maintain farm equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors and surfaces in farm buildings.
- Clean and organize storage areas, workshops, and communal spaces.
- Power wash and hose down designated areas as required.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all biosecurity protocols and safety regulations.
- Assist with other general farm duties as directed by the farm management.
