Job Description
We are urgently seeking a motivated and physically fit Farm Labourer to join the Maluti Fresh Produce team in Mapoteng. This is an immediate start, full-time position critical to our daily farming operations. As a Farm Labourer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to various aspects of crop cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting. Your work will directly impact the quality and quantity of our produce, ensuring that fresh, healthy food reaches our customers. This role requires dedication, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment, often under varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing soil for planting, including tilling, fertilizing, and creating beds.
- Planting seeds, seedlings, and transplanting young plants.
- Weeding, thinning, and pruning crops manually or using basic tools.
- Operating and maintaining irrigation systems, ensuring adequate water supply to crops.
- Harvesting various crops by hand or using appropriate tools, following quality standards.
- Sorting, cleaning, and packing harvested produce for transport.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of farm produce and supplies.
- Performing general farm maintenance tasks, such as repairing fences, clearing debris, and cleaning farm equipment.
- Monitoring crop health and reporting any signs of disease, pests, or damage to supervisors.
- Following all farm safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operating basic farm machinery and tools safely and efficiently (e.g., cultivators, wheelbarrows).
- Working collaboratively with other farm staff to achieve daily production targets.

- Residency in or near Mapoteng, Teyateyaneng.
