Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (tractors, planters, harvesters, etc.) according to safety protocols.
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops (e.g., wheat, canola, barley, lentils).
- Perform general farm duties, including field preparation, irrigation, crop scouting, and fertilization.
- Monitor crop health, identify pests or diseases, and apply appropriate treatments under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm buildings, fences, and agricultural machinery.
- Assist with livestock feeding, care, and movement, if applicable to the specific farm operation.
- Load and unload agricultural products and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all farm safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm premises, equipment, and storage areas.
