Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial data, proposing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure data accuracy.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
