Career.zycto is actively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Finance Reporting Coordinator to join our growing team in Cloverdale, Surrey. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and compile various financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, highlight areas of concern, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure data consistency.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory submissions.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or analysis
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Experience with financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation or actively pursuing designation
  • Experience in the professional services industry
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of local provincial and federal tax regulations
