Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with floral selections, providing recommendations and product information.
- Receive and process new floral shipments, including unpacking, cleaning, and conditioning flowers and plants.
- Arrange and display flowers, plants, and related merchandise attractively to maximize visual appeal and sales.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department, including refrigerators, display cases, and work areas.
- Water, fertilize, and care for plants and cut flowers to ensure their freshness and longevity.
- Prepare floral arrangements, bouquets, and special orders according to customer specifications or standard designs.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking and rotating products.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for customer transactions when necessary.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
