Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up food orders from various partner restaurants and vendors.
- Deliver orders to customers' specified locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify order accuracy and ensure items are correct before departure and upon delivery.
- Handle cash payments and manage electronic transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a polite and friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and QuickPlate's safety guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers, restaurants, and QuickPlate support staff regarding order status or issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of your delivery vehicle.
- Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
Required Skills
- Valid Jamaican Driver's License (Motorcycle or Private Motor Car) for at least 1 year.
- Proven ability to operate a motorcycle or car safely and efficiently.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with the Ocho Rios and surrounding St. Ann areas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for using the QuickPlate rider app.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role.
- Own a well-maintained and reliable motorcycle or car.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
- Customer service experience in any industry.
