Key Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare a variety of fruits, vegetables, and other food items as instructed by chefs and cooks.
- Assist in the preparation of salads, sandwiches, and other cold dishes.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Ensure proper storage of food items, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, verifying inventory.
- Support the cooking staff during peak hours to ensure timely service.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or food quality issues to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen management.
