Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all daily food service operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, service, and safety.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and product availability.
- Control food and labor costs to meet budgetary targets without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations (HACCP principles).
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, striving for optimal guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menus, daily specials, and promotional offerings.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to maintain cleanliness and operational standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on sales, expenses, and staff performance for senior management.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in food service management.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards (HACCP certification preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
