Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack) safely and efficiently to move products, equipment, and materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Stack and retrieve materials, maintaining accurate inventory placement within the warehouse.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Verify product counts and inspect for damages, reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and meet operational goals.
Required Skills
- Valid forklift certification for various types of equipment (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach).
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Basic computer skills for inventory scanning and data entry.
