Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photography sessions for various events (e.g., weddings, parties, corporate functions, cultural festivals) and commercial assignments (e.g., product shots, corporate portraits, real estate, advertising campaigns).
- Consult with clients to understand their photographic needs, vision, and objectives, ensuring all expectations are met.
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and accessories to capture high-quality images in diverse environments.
- Perform post-production tasks including culling, colour correction, retouching, and final image selection using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Manage and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final delivery.
- Deliver final edited images in agreed-upon formats and within specified deadlines.
- Adhere to professional etiquette and represent Career.zycto with integrity at all times.
- Continuously develop and refine photographic skills and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event and commercial photography with a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in operating professional DSLR or mirrorless camera systems and lenses.
- Proficiency in advanced photography techniques, including lighting, composition, and exposure.
- Advanced knowledge of photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) for post-production.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to different shooting environments and client needs.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within St. Elizabeth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training or a degree/diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with video production and editing is a plus.
