Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Handle guest check-outs efficiently, processing payments and providing accurate invoices.
  • Manage reservations, including inputting new bookings, modifying existing ones, and assisting with cancellations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Operate the hotel's phone system, directing calls and taking messages accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision and security.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as mail distribution, photocopying, and filing.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and hotel management software (PMS).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment.

Preferred Qualifications
