Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability of new features.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile development methodology.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
  • Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and testing strategies to improve overall QA efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise, and thorough documentation related to test plans, test cases, and test results.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
  • Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, NUnit, Pytest).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of API testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with performance and security testing tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
