Paradise Beach Resort Zanzibar is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fruit Juicing Attendant to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a world-class resort environment. As a Fruit Juicing Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh, delicious juices and smoothies for our guests, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service. You will be an integral part of enhancing our guests’ experience, providing them with refreshing beverages that complement their stay in paradise. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, has a positive attitude, and is excited to learn and grow within our resort. Full training will be provided to ensure you master all aspects of the role, from fruit selection to perfect presentation and impeccable sanitation practices. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages according to resort standards and guest requests.
- Ensure the juicing station, equipment, and utensils are consistently clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
- Stock and organize fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service to all guests, handling inquiries and special requests with a positive attitude.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages to the F&B supervisor in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to all resort health, safety, and hygiene standards, including food handling and storage protocols.
- Assist with other F&B duties as required, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.

- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Excellent personal grooming and hygiene standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

- Basic numeracy skills for measuring ingredients and handling simple transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even informal) in a customer service or food preparation role is a plus.
- Familiarity with various local and exotic fruits.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English; knowledge of Swahili is an advantage.
