Career.zycto is thrilled to announce immediate seasonal openings for enthusiastic and diligent Fruit Pickers across various farms in the greater Moncton area of New Brunswick. This is an exceptional opportunity to embrace the beauty of nature while playing a crucial role in the harvest season.
As a Fruit Picker, you will be an essential part of our farm partners’ teams, responsible for the careful and efficient harvesting of various fruits, primarily berries and orchard fruits. This physical role requires attention to detail, stamina, and a commitment to quality. You’ll be working outdoors, immersed in the fresh air and natural environment, often alongside a supportive team dedicated to the season’s success. The work can be physically demanding, requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing, but it offers immense satisfaction knowing you are directly helping to supply fresh, healthy produce to our communities and beyond. We are seeking individuals who are ready to commit to the full harvest season, contributing their best efforts to ensure a successful yield.
This seasonal position is perfect for individuals seeking temporary employment, students on summer break, or anyone looking to gain valuable experience in agriculture and local food production. No prior experience is strictly necessary; we value a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, collaborative attitude. Training will be provided on specific picking techniques, quality standards for the different types of fruits you will be harvesting, and safety protocols to ensure a productive and secure work environment. Expect to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays during peak season, as dictated by weather conditions and crop readiness. We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment and will provide all necessary guidance and support to ensure your success. Join us this season and make a tangible difference in the New Brunswick agricultural community!
