Job Description
Are you a hard-working, enthusiastic individual looking for immediate employment in an outdoor setting within London? Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated General Farm Labourer to join our growing team in Greenwich. This isn’t your typical rural farm role; rather, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and developing urban green spaces, community gardens, and specialized horticultural projects that contribute to the beauty and sustainability of our city. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys manual labour, has a passion for plants and outdoor environments, and is eager to contribute to local green initiatives.
As a General Farm Labourer, you will be involved in a wide array of hands-on tasks essential to the upkeep and development of our sites. This role requires physical fitness, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to work. You’ll work alongside experienced supervisors and team members, learning new skills and contributing directly to projects that enhance the local environment and community well-being. From soil preparation and planting to irrigation and harvesting, every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a tangible difference.
We value commitment, reliability, and a strong work ethic. While previous experience in agricultural or horticultural settings is a plus, it is not strictly required. We are looking for individuals who are quick learners, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in all weather conditions. This role is perfect for those who prefer an active job away from a desk and are keen to start making an impact right away. Join Career.zycto and become a vital part of London’s green future, fostering environments where both nature and community thrive.
