In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Architect and optimize GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and advanced networking.
- Develop comprehensive cloud strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on GCP best practices, security protocols, and cost optimization techniques.
- Evaluate new GCP services and emerging cloud technologies, recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance our offerings and capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure all implemented solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory compliance, and Career.zycto’s architectural principles.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud environments, diagnose issues, and provide expert guidance for timely resolution and operational stability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Google Cloud Architect or similar senior role, with at least 5+ years dedicated to GCP architecture and implementation.
- Deep expertise in GCP core services, including Compute Engine, Networking (VPC, Load Balancing, CDN), Storage, IAM, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, data protection principles, and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Solid programming skills in at least one relevant language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and large-scale cloud migration strategies.
- Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning services on GCP (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI).
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
- Previous experience working in a client-facing consulting or advisory role.
