Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, review, and submission of grant applications, ensuring adherence to funder guidelines and internal university policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant proposals, awards, and all related correspondence in designated databases and filing systems.
- Conduct preliminary research on potential funding opportunities, eligibility requirements, and application procedures relevant to university projects.
- Support the coordination of internal approvals and necessary documentation from various departments, faculty members, and collaborators.
- Help track grant deadlines and reporting requirements, providing timely reminders to relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting grant-related documents, including proposals, reports, letters of intent, and acknowledgements.
- Facilitate effective communication between researchers, administrative staff, and external funding agencies as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, organizing electronic and physical files, and managing correspondence related to grant activities.
- Participate actively in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of grant administration best practices and university-specific processes.
