Key Responsibilities
- Receive comprehensive training on the store's Point-of-Sale (POS) system and all cash handling procedures.
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service during their checkout experience, ensuring a positive final impression.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, debit, and credit card payments.
- Scan grocery items precisely, verifying correct pricing and quantities for all products.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and directing them to appropriate aisles or team members for further assistance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area, including the neat arrangement of impulse items and promotional displays.
- Bag groceries carefully and efficiently, considering product fragility, weight, and customer preferences.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures related to sales, security, food safety, and customer service standards.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge.
- Support general store operations by assisting with light stocking, merchandising, or front-end organization as needed.
