Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently stock shelves, rotate products to ensure freshness, and remove expired or damaged items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including aisles, displays, and storage areas.
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing friendly, helpful service.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment safely to move and organize inventory (training provided).
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock to management.
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and organizing stock.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues as needed and communicating effectively.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines, to ensure a safe shopping and working environment.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- Basic numeracy skills for stock counting and pricing checks.

- Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles.
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks.
