Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and efficient Night Shift Grocery Stocker to join our team in Downtown, Texarkana. This pivotal role involves ensuring our store shelves are consistently stocked, organized, and presented appealingly for our daytime shoppers. Working through the night, you will be instrumental in preparing the store for successful daily operations, handling incoming shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly sales floor and backroom. Key Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks efficiently and organize incoming merchandise in the stockroom.
- Stock shelves, dairy cases, frozen food sections, and produce displays according to store planograms and rotation policies.
- Ensure accurate pricing and placement of products on shelves.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste (FIFO method).
- Maintain clean and organized aisles, shelves, and backroom areas.
- Remove empty boxes and trash, and operate balers and compactors safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and responsibly.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Provide support to other departments as needed during off-peak hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Capable of standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory rotation and stock management.
- Excellent time management skills to meet stocking deadlines.
