As a Guest Services Agent, you will manage all aspects of guest check-in and check-out, meticulously handle reservations, and skillfully address inquiries, requests, and any potential concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Your day will involve everything from greeting guests with a warm smile, assisting with luggage, and providing local recommendations, to managing phone calls, processing payments, and maintaining accurate guest records. Beyond the transactional duties, this role is about anticipating guest needs, proactively resolving issues, and going the extra mile to create personalized experiences that exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, performing efficient check-ins and check-outs.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Answer multi-line phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, dining) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide concierge-like services, offering recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local points of interest.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages for guests and staff.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, safety protocols, and brand standards at all times.

  • Experience with Opera PMS or similar property management systems
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a significant advantage
