Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations for incoming and departing vessels.
- Monitor and report on vessel movements and cargo handling activities within the harbor.
- Support the maintenance and readiness of port equipment, including ropes, fenders, and safety gear.
- Prepare and update operational logs, reports, and other essential documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with vessel crews, pilots, port authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in emergency response drills and assist during actual incidents.
- Conduct routine inspections of berths, jetties, and surrounding harbor areas.
- Provide general assistance to port operations staff as needed.
