Job Description
Career.zycto is urgently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Harvest Workers to join our farming team in Paisley, Glasgow, for the upcoming season. As a Harvest Worker, you will be an integral part of our operation, ensuring crops are picked, sorted, and prepared for distribution with care and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully harvesting a variety of crops by hand or using basic tools.
- Sorting and grading produce according to quality standards and specifications.
- Packing harvested goods efficiently into crates, boxes, or containers for transportation.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of produce onto vehicles.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, both in the fields and in the packing shed.
- Operating simple farm machinery or equipment safely under supervision, if required.
- Adhering strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with team members to meet daily targets.
- Performing general farm duties and tasks as directed by supervisors.

- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly dependable, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure quality produce is harvested and packed.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently from supervisors.
- Flexibility to work in varying outdoor weather conditions (rain, sun, cold).

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or general farm work.
- Basic understanding of farm equipment or machinery operation.
- A valid UK driving license.
- Basic First Aid certification.
