Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, dressing), mobility, and feeding, while promoting independence.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, document patient observations, and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff or supervisor promptly.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a reassuring and comfortable environment.
  • Assist with basic medical procedures under the direct supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Support patients with their medication as per care plans and under professional guidance.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities and promote their social interaction.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist with patient transportation within the facility or to appointments as required.
