Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any significant changes to senior staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging patients in conversation and activities.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with medication reminders as per care plans and protocols.
- Accurately document care provided, observations, and any concerns.
- Adhere strictly to patient care plans, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
