Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel when necessary.
- Walk customers through problem-solving processes, ensuring clear and understandable guidance.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems and determine the best solution.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their IT issues are fully resolved and they are satisfied with the support.
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes, manuals, and FAQs for future reference.
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries, fostering a positive user experience.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
