Career.zycto is seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Cleaning Worker to join our growing team in the Junction Triangle area of Toronto. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks in industrial settings, which may include warehouses, manufacturing plants, and production facilities. You will be responsible for operating various cleaning equipment, handling industrial-grade cleaning solutions, and adhering to strict health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general industrial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors.
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, polishers, and power washers.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas within industrial facilities.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal according to established procedures.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, machinery, and equipment.
- Handle and dilute cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to COSHH guidelines.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
