Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via various channels (phone, email, in-person).
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Document all support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures, including setting up new workstations.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and perform routine system checks and updates.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security, software usage, and system maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of computer operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11, macOS).
  • Familiarity with common office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with a ticketing system (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zendesk, Freshservice) is a plus.
