Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual results to budget and forecast, and provide clear explanations for significant deviations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives, investment decisions, and operational planning.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with financial analysis and reporting.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide insightful analysis.
- Streamline and automate financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by senior management.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reporting and analysis.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
