Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective resource allocation plans for various projects and operational needs.
- Collaborate with project managers, team leaders, and department heads to understand project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage and optimise the scheduling and deployment of personnel, equipment, and other essential resources.
- Monitor resource utilisation, identify potential conflicts or under-utilisation, and proactively propose solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resource availability, skills matrices, and historical usage data.
- Analyse resource data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders regarding resource status, changes, and potential impacts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of resource management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate resource-related risks and ensure project continuity.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in resource allocation, scheduling, or project coordination.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in resource planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, ERP systems, or similar).
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain high productivity in a home-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
