Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer or prompt medication as per care plans and training guidelines.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
- Undertake light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and tidying living spaces.
- Provide companionship, engaging clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities.
- Assist with shopping and running errands, ensuring clients have necessary supplies.
- Support clients in accessing community services and attending appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team.
