Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, including assistance with personal hygiene (washing, dressing, continence care) with dignity and respect.
- Support with medication administration following company policy and training.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met, and encourage healthy eating.
- Perform light household duties, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversations, and accompany service users to appointments or social activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in a service user's health or well-being to the care coordinator.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Promote independence and choice for service users wherever possible.
Required Skills
- Genuine passion for helping others and a caring, empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care setting (either professional or personal).
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of safeguarding adults at risk procedures.
