Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy services, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, and other modalities, tailored to client needs.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand individual needs, preferences, and medical history, developing personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and detailed treatment notes.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and lifestyle recommendations for continued well-being.
- Ensure the massage room is meticulously clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with linens and supplies before and after each session.
- Adhere strictly to all state licensing laws, professional ethical guidelines, and company policies regarding massage therapy.
- Promote a calming, therapeutic, and respectful environment for all clients.
- Collaborate effectively with other wellness professionals and front desk staff to ensure seamless client experience and integrated care.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, demonstrating reliability and professionalism within a flexible work framework.
Required Skills
- Valid Minnesota State Massage Therapist License.
- Proven ability to perform various massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage.
